Ahhhhh. Hello there. snag a chair and take a seat

Welcome to the Archives. Funny to find you here. It's been a while since I've seen someone lurking the past. But since you're here, can I tell you a story? You may think you know the story of CMV... but have you ever seen it through 3...whole...perspectives?

This is the story of a lil foreplay, an epic climax, followed by a smoke break. Then, of course there is always The Return. I guess the only problem is the Loop... but Its the underlying reason why you are even able to read this right now, because without Quantum you wouldn't have even been born. He could be your gran-daddy. No need to thank him, he wouldn't get it anyway.

The CMV History of Quantum Empty Quantum Leaks

Post by RiftedEnergy Tue Feb 01, 2022 10:01 am

Alright well, here's a "Quantum Leaks" cheat sheet.

Dusk Till Dawn is a Tarantino movie about vampires at the titty Twister. The Titty Twister has been used in promos since 2k15, dating back to XGEN tracking down the Mexican Militia who had seemingly left CMV with their tag team titles. Adam Finito has been spotted since retirement at the lounge. Joy Justice also spotted after episode 777.

First audio is from the Legacy Quantum v. Hayden Ascendance hype which syncs with background videos later. "Tell me what to say, no matter if it's true" particularly matches with Quantum lore as he is a terrible, and unreliable narrarator. Apparently, for good reason

Quantum has referenced his debut many times, also citing that his actual debut was prior to his CMV debut on episode 19. His previous debut was ruined by Eminem who came out and battled him instead. The audio is still Legacy, but Dashing commentary about "the past that these two share" creates the double entendre. The special effects line allows me to play with transitions more than I need to or already do

The Basement is referenced by Quantum to Malone after he is triggered in The Purgatory Rap n Battle. Quantum states he has an Eminem Variant locked in, alluding to the fact he had captured the one that had dated him in his debut... but later reveals the doors were not even locked and its voluntary.

Green screen be8ng used with a green screen on screen implies several things, one can be that he's reminiscing about the fact, one can be that he's behind the videos, one can be that all this is in his imagination.

Walk through the basement reveals it to be 5* and luxurious. Arrive at recording booth with Cobalt Ketchups bad dream playing. The Cobalt Ketchup bad dream has been referenced as a premonition from 2k16 regarding 2k20. Also, infers the existence of an Anomoly Omega.

The videos Get Rifted, and Eminem begins rapping in the booth to the instrumental.

Quantum stops him, asks what's going on with the video, he doesn't get it.

Eminem says he loves Quantum videos and they get him hyped. All the talk about heists all the time and he wants in. The visuals reflect him preparing.

Quantum changes subject and asks about CMV Hero video, states marketing is trying to make it a thing. Eminem hates it

Quantum shows the Muppet Christmas clash video, which is also declined by Em and goes off on about something else instead in an alternative. Like Michael Bolton on Jack Sparrow.

Quantum stops him again, reminding him that some of the events haven't happened in this universe. And also the basement is timeless. The cornerstone of the Quantum timeline shows Eminem briefly

Em goes off again, but Quantum stops him because of the gun references and fears the blowback from an investigation at the bingo hall. Reference since 2k20 w Bob Luger.

I accidently left Ascendance record off the visual, 8-2... until I drop the twist in the Quantum Loop finale at least. Sppiler... The Most Wins in History ain't just a catchphrase.

Cmv 2k22 inactive roster is for several reasons. Quantum loop Episode 0 shows the calendar that 2k15-2k20 was suppose to be followed by a vacation for Quantum. The loop went 2k19-2k20-back to 2k19 and he didn't get Vaca. Also, ascendance 10 will finish a 10yr contract I've been promoing. The implication is that he's also taking Bob into retirement before this season is over, because he isn't returning himself.

All this happens... and similar to Visualize the Win, Regicide, 2k executives, and Last One Standing videos... he hears the call for and leaps out and into cmv in time for his entrances, respectfully.

There's a couple more Easter eggs but that's just off the top. The after credits scene shows, again, the basement is timeless and he pipes in Infinite, year 1k96, into Dr Dre's studio. Infinite is released 1k96.

The CMV History of Quantum Empty The Grandfather Parallax

Post by RiftedEnergy Sat Apr 15, 2023 7:46 pm

"If Time Travel is ever to invented in the future, that means it's always been here"
-some dude

(PreCMV)

Chapter 1: The Grandfather Parallax
*Parallax is the observed displacement of an object caused by the change of the observer's point of view.

[CAPTAIN'S LOG- Commencement Observation]

It was the eerily quiet night of Thursday October 4th, 1984, when and where two men sat tied up in chairs with burlap sacks covering their heads, the only barrier between them and the unknown third man. The heat was sweltering, and the air was dry and dusty. The trailers were old and dilapidated, rusted and beaten down, with peeling paint and broken windows. The sun had long since set, so the only light came from the flickering neon sign of a seedy bar a few blocks away. The hot, dry air felt thiccc with three Cs, making it hard to breathe.

Of the three warm bodies in the makeshift torture chamber there was probably only one soul total. Though, you could argue the sole tick of a watch pairing perfectly with the tapping of sole of a shoe adds to three.

As the third man stood there, his eyes darting around the trailer park, his mask only adding to the eerie ambiance. The place was a wasteland, forgotten, never to be called home again.

The two tied men sat in silence, their hearts pounding in their chests, their minds racing with fear and confusion. They had no idea why they were there, who this third was, or what he wanted from them. The only clue was the ticking of the watch, which seemed to amplify within the empty walls. It was as if time itself had stopped in this desolate place, leaving only the three men trapped in this twisted game of cat and mice.

The third man's movements were slow and deliberate. He seemed to blend in with the darkness, the mask hiding his features and intentions. The silence was deafening, broken only by the occasional creaking of the old trailer and the ticking of the watch.

The desolation of the trailer park seemed to seep into those trapped within it. The air was thick with the stench of decay and abandonment, as if the place itself were slowly rotting away. It was a perfect setting for a horror movie, a place where nightmares come to life. And for the two men sitting in the chairs, with sacks over their heads and no way out, it was a waking nightmare that they feared would never end

They were disheveled and dirty, wearing tattered clothing and their body language said they hadn't slept for days. They were sweating profusely in the heat and squirming uncomfortably in their chairs. The men were left to wonder if they were simply collateral damage in someone else's twisted plot, or if they had somehow been specifically targeted for a nefarious purpose. Completely disoriented and confused, unable to make sense of their surroundings or the situation they found themselves in, they might as well have just been plucked from their ordinary lives and thrust into this dark and foreboding place without warning or explanation. Either that or they were pawns in some twisted game, with the third man pulling all the strings.

Their captor remained enigmatic and detached, his motives and intentions shrouded in mystery. As they struggled against their restraints and tried to make sense of their predicament, the oppressive silence of the trailer park pressed down upon them like a heavy weight, suffocating.

The third man stepped into a sliver of light and as if to to emphasis the contrast, his suit was perfectly tailored, the tie was straight and crisp. His hair was neatly combed back, and his shoe polish reflected the shard of light with a mirror-like shine. He carried an air of confidence and sophistication, and his demeanor was that of someone who was used to being in control of letting go. While the respirator masked his smile, the real magic was the experiences that hid it in his eyes.

When he finally began to speak, his words carried an ominous tone, as if he was foreshadowing something much more sinister to come. His piercing gaze bore through their hoods and seemed to leave them feeling exposed and vulnerable.

He spoke of their past mistakes and poor decisions, carefully detailing each error as if he had been watching them for years. The weight of his authority seemed to grow with each passing moment, as if he held their fate in his hands.

Despite the scorching heat and the tension in the air, the third man remained calm and composed, never once breaking his cadence. The words were like a surgical knife, cutting through the layers of the men's lives with a precision that was almost chilling. He spoke in a measured tone, never raising his voice or losing his composure, even as he recounted some of their most personal and painful experiences.

He pointed out the ways in which they had failed to take responsibility for their actions, choosing instead to blame others for their own mistakes. He highlighted the missed opportunities and poor decisions that had led them down a path of disappointment and regret.

At times, his words were like a harsh truth that neither of the men wanted to hear, but they couldn't help but listen. They were literally strapped down. But there was a sense of authority in his voice, an almost otherworldly wisdom that made them feel as if they were in the presence of someone who knew everything about them.

As he continued to speak, the men began to realize that there was more to this than just a simple interrogation. The third man was not just pointing out their flaws and shortcomings, but he must also be offering them a chance at redemption.

He spoke of the ways in which they could change their lives, the steps they could take to become better versions of themselves. He talked about the importance of self-reflection and owning up to their mistakes, encouraging them to take control of their lives and make the most of their remaining time.

Through it all, the constant ticking of the watch served as a reminder of the fleeting nature of time. The men knew that their fate was in the third man's hands, and they listened to his words with a mixture of fear and hope, wondering what would come next

As he spoke, there was seperation in his voice, as if he were simply an observer, detached from the situation. It was almost as if he was talking about someone else entirely, and not the two men sitting in front of him. His disconnected demeanor seemed to suggest that he was not emotionally invested in their fate, despite the fact that he was the one who had brought them there. It was as if he had seen this all before, and was simply going through the motions. It was clear that he spoke from a place of wisdom and insight, as if he had observed the ways in which people often fall short of their potential. His words were delivered in a matter-of-fact manner, not accusatory, but rather like a neutral observer who was simply noting the facts. He spoke with a quiet confidence that commanded attention, and it was clear that he had a deep understanding of their human condition. As he spoke, there was a sense of foreshadowing, as if he were preparing them for something that was yet to come.

Gradually, the third man lifted the burlap sack from one of the captive's heads. The man revealed appeared to be in his mid-40s, a rugged face etched with lines that spoke of a life lived hard and fast. His pupils get acclomated to the dim, his eyes fill with fear and confusion as they scan around the room. The third man's unwavering voice pierced the tense silence and as he progressed, his attention turned to the bewildered middle-aged man.

"Hot damn you look older than I'd have thought!" The captor breaks character for a moment to exclaim, "I'd say you might have lived a lifetime a few times... but that's my line." And as if it never happened he went back to stoic.

The captive's mind raced as he tried to piece together what was happening. His heart pounded in his chest, and sweat beaded on his forehead. He struggled to understand the purpose behind the third man's words, his tone, and his actions. The middle-aged man's thoughts were jumbled and confused as he tried to make sense of his predicament, as if he had been plunged into a nightmare from which he couldn't escape.

Meanwhile, the third man's words became more deliberate and focused, as if he were zeroing in on a particular target. His voice carried an air of authority, but also a hint of something else, something ominous that the middle-aged man couldn't quite put his finger on. As the minutes ticked by, the man began to realize that this was no ordinary situation, and that he was in grave danger

As the ticking of the watch continued to fill the room, the middle-aged man's eyes never left the third man's face, as if he was trying to find some kind of reassurance or explanation in his words. But the third man's tone remained.

The room was getting heavy with a sense of foreboding as he finally introduced himself but the mere mention of his code name, "Q1TM," sent shivers down their spines, and they knew that they were dealing with a formidable foe.

Quantum revealed the startling news that the middle-aged man's son was due to be born the very next day. The man was taken aback by this revelation, his mind struggling to comprehend the sudden turn of events. "What? My son? I didn't even know...," he stammered.

The uncertainty of whether he would be able to witness the birth of his child added to the already tense atmosphere in the room. "Will I be able to see him? Will I be able to hold him?" he asked, his voice filled with a mixture of fear and hope.

The ticking of the watch seemed to grow louder, marking the passing seconds as they waited for some kind of explanation

"I guess that is for you to decide, in time...."

The third man checked his watch again before turning to the other chair, removing the remaining burlap sack to reveal an old man who seemed to be in a state of shock.

The old man's mind raced with memories of his youth, as he tried to reconcile the face of the man in front of him with the image he had of him in his mind's eye. He could barely believe that the younger man was sitting right there in front of him, looking almost exactly as he had decades ago.

The younger man's shock quickly turned to recognition as well, and he realized with growing horror that the old man was in fact an older version of himself. He couldn't believe what he was seeing - he had always assumed that he would grow old and die, like everyone else. He never imagined that time travel was possible, much less that he would one day meet his future self.

The third man watched with interest as the two men slowly came to this realization. He knew that this was a crucial moment for them, a moment that would change the course of their lives forever. He waited for them to process the information, knowing that they would soon have to make a choice - to accept their fate or to try to change it.

"Is that...?"

"Are you...?"

"Yes," Quantum interrupts them both, "This is exactly what you think it is. You are you... and You? You're you. Meet yourself. Say 'hello' and feel free to ask yourself any questions..."

Three whole seconds extend for an eternity, then rubber bands back with a the quickness of a snap.

"I'm... I'm... I'm so sorry..." The old man looks at his former self and says the only thing he can muster.

The fledgling remains confused, "...... why.... oh no..."

"DING DING DING!" Quantum breaks character for a second time. "You see? He? Is the answer to all the questions you're scared to ask. His only answer to you, and rightfully so, will always be 'I'm Sorry' because he has nothing more he can say to you, to the younger version of himself. You have to ask yourself if you would be saying the same thing to, uh, yourself... again... but a younger one of you.. ahhhhh"

He wraps himself into a loop from time to time but always finds a way out.

"This old man, this man right here? He never met his son," Quantum drops the hammer and checks his watch once more.

"Oh no no, please. Anything. I won't be like him. Please, I promise. I will be there tomorrow. Just let me go. Please, help me..." The younger one shows his immaturity as Quantum steps out of the light.

"Well, that's why we are here," the sound of squeaking wheels meeting rust screeches  inconsistntly as rolling often turns to a drag. "It's October, kinda reminds me of one of my favorite Halloween movies. Lemme ask... Do you want to play a game?"

If all the sound was part of the torture, it was well designed. If cringing while witnessing Quantum struggle through the task like a sitcom dad was another part of it, it was the perfect punishment. Both men in chairs noted silently how he could have easily just picked it up.

Two shot glasses make the sound you'd expect as they slam down consecutively. A familiar aluminum cap spins in three half rotations. A quick glug follows another one, then a half a glug finishes the pour on one double shot of bourbon. Quantum reappears a moment later with a frosted cannister, the condensation on the outside revealing a chill as he pours the other shot of a clumpy, thicc milk, about two Cs for reference.

"So thats obviously whiskey, and this milk.... Milk of the Papi" Quantum appears to blunder and, almost instinctively, the old man begins to corrects him.

"Don't you mean Milk of the Poppy?"

But Quantum wasn't having it, "See there's your problem, huh, just can't shut the fuck up. That's how you got here. That's why he is here. That's why you both will always be here"

"Wait! Please..." The younger one tries once more "please I promise... I won't be him... I can change!"

Quantum notes the irony, "And as if on cue... you still chime in? Listen ..."

Checking the watch once again, he makes time for a quick story.

"You are about to make a choice. You get one shot... one opportunity.... mom's spaghetti n all?"

But cuz it's 1984, nobody gets the reference.

"You can take a shot of this old af milk that I've tried my best to kept frozen to extend the shelf life. You'd probably guess it's in its 40s, but realistically?" Quantum looks at the younger man, "Probably about 30something years old? You're gonna have to take your chances with that one. Or... or you can take this shot of whiskey."

The old man's mouth waters with recency bias.

"But it's either/or and its gonna be one, each. But I guess only one of you will truly have a choice to make. Before we get to that, there are two more things I need to explain and you deserve an answer as to how this is possible. I have a little time, so I will explain.

I am from the future, kinda. I am currently on a test flight, if you will, maybe even call it a maiden voyage. I won't get into the specifics, as either of you can barely comprehend something such as the internet much less additional dimensions, but let's just call this the first Time Travel test. Is it possible to take an old man and have them meet their younger self? I have tested and answered with this experiment. Yes."

Quantum eyes the two men, two shots.

"So now we must test the GrandFather paradox. The Grandfather Paradox is if you were to invent time travel, go back in time and kill your grandfather, you would then not be born to invent time travel. It's a loop, you see?"

The men begin to think they know where this is going. And they're wrong.

"But, I have a different theory to test.  I would like to see what the old man does when faced with a choice. Or maybe I want to see what the young one does when he knows what he will turn into. Or maybe... maybe it really is about redemption? I guess the grandfather paradox will tell us."

Quantum pushes the cart closer, bringing the noise with it.

"Young-You, if you take the whiskey you will end up like this man. The rest of your life will be chasing the same thing, continuously failing. Old-You, your time is almost up as it is," he checks the clicking of the watch "but you can still choose to be selfish and take the whiskey... forcing the milk on the younger you. Alternatively, thinking the milk will end your current struggle quicker will only resort in a life of pain and suffering for Young-You. But if you-you think... hey..you... HEY! WAKE UP!"

The old man seems to have dosed off. As the younger version tries to spot breathing he hears the watch click again, this time different but also off-beat for the first time since they heard it start. The old man's eyes open fiercely and he regains his position.

Quantum continues, "As I was saying...Both of you are free to choose... at your leisure."

Before he can step back to analyze the situation Old-him lunges forward immediately, only to be stopped abruptly, seemingly freezing in place for a second. He finally slumps, one hand falling at the crossroads of the two glasses and the other on clutching his chest.

"Hmmm I guess I am a little late...." Quantum smirks but Young-him can't notice. He's too busy trying to process each furthering moment. The Future Man rewinds a tick of the watch a tock and the old man sparks up like a defibrillator hit him back to life. Seeing life once more, Old-him pounces again only to hit the invisible boundry of his time. Quantum clicks three in rapid succession and makes eye contact with the middle aged man.

"Better hurry... I won't do this all day" he removes his hand from the watch and let's fate be full.

Young-him feels conviction as he reaches for the curdled glass, "I won't be like him..." He takes the shot of tge Milk of the Papi as Quantum winces, almost gagging.

"Nah, you sure won't." Quantum revives the old man once more, this time spinning the wheel on his wristwatch like the he's on Price Is Right, and he's trying to get it on a second  consecutive dollar.

The old man's eyes dart to the shotglasses immediately, noticing the treasure remained. He smiled, before wondering if the younger him was about to die. But even in his revisited final moments, the selfishness that had followed him through a full life still showed as he remarked "yeah fine, die. If you dying kills me, I've already lived my life. He can't take it back, it's already happened. You can erase me, but you can never erase the fact that I have already been."

And thus, Quantum answered his questions to the grandfather paradox. The old man was right. You could go back in time and kill a grandfather but you can never erase an experience once it has been experienced. This is the consciousness in Present Day. The rest of the timeline moves on, but that fragment will still exist as part of the whole. Therefore, on the maiden voyage of his time travel, Quantum had also answered his MultiVerse theory.

"There are alternate versions of yous that exist... they have all made different choices in life. The choices they made make for a better story on their end, sure, but only one path in all that lead to this moment. There is only one reality where we three exist. What if? Eh? What if, indeed...."

The old man has heard enough gibbering for this lifetime and wasn't happy about the previous extensions. He quickly grabs the whiskey and takes the shot. The words "Sure makes you wonder why I never regretted it..." fell on an unattended Quantum as he was busy setting his watch.

"Only one sperm from one grandfather can create the one absent father.... so that was what you drank. The Milk of the Papi. Your papi." Quantum chuckles as Younghim begins to hurl. Oldhim shocks himself back into a heart attack and the watch automatically clicks it's second hand back once, each and every time.

Quantum opens the door to allow a last glimpse of moonlight before he uses "schrodingering" as a verb in the past tense.

"Oh hey look, its Friday... I guess for a consolation prize, you actually did get to meet your son" you can almost hear the ice crackling as it forms.

As the shimmering moonlight filters through the open door, its beam becomes narrower and more focused. Suddenly, two bright flashes illuminate the room, followed by a quick flashback to darkness. The sound of the door creaking fills the air as it swings shut, sealing the room in eerie silence.

Just as the final echoes of the door's closing reverberate through the space (and time) a faint melody drifts through the air. It's almost imperceptible at first, but as the tune grows clearer, the two in the room realize with a shiver.

The hairs on the back of their necks stand up as they look around, searching for the source of the voice. But there's no one left, and the only sound that can be heard is the fainting familiar jingle "Happy Birthday... to me"
